Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for a leading aerospace engineering and aircraft completions organization. Lake Charles, LA or Dallas, TX are the locations; the role supports Aircraft Completions, Modifications, and VIP/VVIP interior projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will design and analyze interior components, prepare drawings and installation packages, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
7+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or related industry.
Experience creating engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design packages.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical designs, drawings, installation packages, and documentation for interior and structural modification projects.
Design and analyze interior components including seating installations, monuments, cabinetry, galleys, lavatories, partitions, and structural assemblies.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support structural integrity, material selection, and system integration requirements.
Coordinate with certification, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and production objectives.
Support troubleshooting, design reviews, aircraft surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
