Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, 7+ years of aviation electrical experience, and knowledge of FAA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of aviation electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of FAA certification processes including STC, ODA, airworthiness, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar engineering design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze aircraft electrical systems and components for interior modifications, avionics upgrades, and STC projects.
• Prepare engineering reports, electrical drawings, analyses, test plans, and Engineering Authorizations (EAs).
• Develop electrical installation procedures, work instructions, and modification recommendations.
• Coordinate electrical engineering activities with project managers to ensure project schedules and deliverables are met.
• Support certification activities, regulatory approvals, and electrical kit development while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
