Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced violin instructor to teach in-person at Grace Music School, Fort Salonga, NY. This part-time position offers flexible hours within our open schedule.

The ideal candidate has a degree in music performance or pedagogy (or equivalent performing experience), teaches young musicians well, is punctual, has reliable transportation, can pass a routine background check, and earns $30–36 per hour with health benefits and a 401(k) after 30 days.

About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional violin instructorto teach part-time at Grace Music School, in Fort Salonga, Long Island, New York. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-36/hour.

Health benefit options and a 401(K) program with employer matching are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
