Job summary

Ensemble Schools seeks a fun, experienced guitar instructor for Grace Music School in Woodbury, NY and/or Fort Salonga. The in-person, part-time role offers Thursday evening and Sunday morning slots with room to grow.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in music performance or pedagogy or equivalent performing experience, enjoy teaching young musicians, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality. Compensation is $30–$36/hour plus benefits after 30 days.

Job description

About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional guitar instructor to teach part-time at Grace Music School, in Woodbury, NY AND/OR in Fort Salonga. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! Ability to teach beginner piano is a plus!

Woodbury hours: Thursdays from 4pm to 8:15pm from November 2026 to February 2026 with room to grow.
Fort Salonga hours: Sundays from 9am to 12pm with room to grow.

Both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-36/hour.
