Merchants Metals is one of North America’s largest manufacturers and distributors of fence systems, with 35 distribution centers, four manufacturing facilities, and a 60‑year legacy of quality fencing and accessories.

Position Summary

We are looking for operators for our operations department. Shift hours are from 5 pm to 5 am, Monday through Saturday, with an average of 40–50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate the machine to vinyl coat parts
• Sort and package parts
• Verify quantity and quality of material
• Move raw material to and from production areas as necessary
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork
• Perform computer data entry using basic computer skills
• Be accountable for all duties of the job
• Adhere strictly to all company, departmental, and safety policies
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and departmental housekeeping standards
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
