Job summary

Nucor's Vulcraft-Indiana plant in St. Joe, IN, is seeking a qualified PROJECT MANAGER to join our team. You will build strong relationships with customers, apply business acumen to decisions, and read blueprints and engineering documents to support project success.

Travel as needed, coordinate with the Project Management team to balance VIN and customer needs, and uphold safety and service standards. Minimum qualifications include 1 year construction management experience; preferred background

Qualifications

• 1 year total experience with construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, civil engineering or related field preferred.

Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft-Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for the position of PROJECT MANAGER to be located at the plant in St. Joe, IN. Compensation consists of base wage plus ROA.

• Ability to build and establish strong relationships with customers
• Utilize business acumen to make good decisions that are beneficial to both VIN and its customers
• Possess a technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and other engineering documents
• Identify and communicate potential problems or delays and offer cost-effective solutions
• Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers
• Work with the Project Management team to proactively manage the division’s production schedule by balancing the needs of VIN and its customers
• Exemplify a \"project-ownership\" attitude in all aspects of the job
• Must be willing to and have the means to travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
