Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort is seeking an Inspector to conduct routine villa inspections within the Rental Management Program. The role includes owner arrival and villa departure inspections, documenting conditions, and ensuring quality after contractor work.

You will log findings, place and track work orders, and report deficiencies to relevant departments. The ideal candidate is neat, professional, with strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficient in spreadsheets and word processing, and

• Attention to detail and problem solving are essential while inspecting villas.
• Proficiency in company-approved spreadsheets and word processing is required.
• Ability to utilize software systems and management tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of villas in the Rental Management Program, including owner arrival and villa departure inspections.
• Follow scheduling of inspections through management programs.
• Log inspections with notes and pictures in the work order system.
• Place work orders for deficiencies and assign to respective departments.
• Inspect villas after contractor work to verify completion and quality of work.
• Inspect villas upon guest departure for deficiencies or damages.
• Inspect villas prior to owner arrivals for quality assurance.

Job description

• Conduct routine inspections of villas in the Rental Management Program, including owner arrival inspections and villa departure inspections.
• Follows scheduling of inspections through management programs.
• Complete an inspection for each villa on a regular basis noting condition of individual items as well as overall condition of the villa.
• Inspect villas after scheduled contractor work to ensure work has been completed.
• Upon the completion of Preventative Maintenance visits by engineering, inspect the Villa for any punch list items and quality of work.
• Routinely inspect villas upon guest departure for any deficiencies or damages.
• Inspect villas prior to Owner arrivals for quality assurance purposes.
• Utilize work order system to log all inspections with notes and pictures.
• Place work orders for deficiencies and assign them to respective departments to resolve.
• Communicate with villa coordinators to report items needing attention to owners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be neat, clean, well-groomed, courteous and possess a pleasing personality. Must have a good rapport with people and have a genuine concern for the guest's and owner’s well being. Applicants must be able to speak distinctly in a pleasant manner. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Good inter-personal skills. Able to stay focused and calm while dealing with difficult situations. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills. Must have attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills. Utilize software systems and management tools. Proficiency in company approved spread sheets and word processing is also required. Additional requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent organization skills.
