Job summary

DanceBUG Inc. is hiring videographers to cover February–June dance competitions across the United States. You will travel to events, operate cameras and livestream systems, and upload media with the DanceBUG team. Gear is provided and no editing is required.

No dance experience is required; training starts in January with live events and virtual instruction to bring you up to speed for fast-paced travel schedules.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Within about an hour of a major airport
• Available for weekend travel
• Comfortable with long days and 5–6 hour drives
• Able to lift about 50 pounds
• Able to pass a background check

Sports & Live Event Videographer

Travel the U.S. | Equipment provided | No editing

DanceBUG is hiring videographers for our February-June dance competition season. Bring your camera or live-event experience - we'll provide the gear and teach you how to film dance.

What We Offer

• Starting at $25/hour; overtime after 40 hours per week

Typical schedule: Thursday or Friday through Sunday or Monday, with events across the U.S.

The Role

Travel to competitions, operate cameras and livestream systems, monitor video feeds, and upload event media alongside the DanceBUG team.

No dance experience required. Training includes virtual instruction in January and at least two live events with experienced team members.

You're a Good Fit If You

Have experience with cameras or live production-sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work - and comfortable with technology and fast-paced events.
