DanceBUG is seeking videographers to travel across the United States and film live dance competitions. We provide gear and training; you bring your camera or live-event experience. Roles involve operating cameras and livestream systems with the team, and uploading media from events.
No editing or post-production is required, and you will be scheduled for regular weekend events. Training starts virtually in January with a few live events to onboard you to our workflows.

Starting at $25/hour; overtime after 40 hours per week

Typical schedule: Thursday or Friday through Sunday or Monday, with events across the U.S.
Travel to competitions, operate cameras and livestream systems, monitor video feeds, and upload event media alongside the DanceBUG team.
No dance experience required. Training includes virtual instruction in January and at least two live events with experienced team members.
Have experience with cameras or live production-sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work - and comfortable with technology and fast-paced events.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid U.S. driver's license; within about an hour of a major airport; available for weekend travel; comfortable with long days and occasional 5-6-hour drives; able to lift about 50 pounds; able to pass a background check.
