Job summary

DanceBUG is seeking videographers to travel to competitions across the United States, operating cameras and livestream systems with the DanceBUG team. Equipment is provided and no editing is required.

Training is included, with virtual instruction in January and hands-on experience at live events. Your role includes weekend travel, some long drives, and lifting equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with cameras or live production in fast-paced events such as sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, or broadcasting.
• Familiarity with OBS or multi-camera setups for livestreaming.
• Comfortable with technology and fast-paced event environments.

Sports & Live Event Videographer

Travel the U.S. | Equipment provided | No editing

DanceBUG is hiring videographers for our February-June dance competition season. Bring your camera or live-event experience - we'll provide the gear and teach you how to film dance.

What We Offer

• Starting at $25/hour; overtime after 40 hours per week

Typical schedule: Thursday or Friday through Sunday or Monday, with events across the U.S.

The Role

Travel to competitions, operate cameras and livestream systems, monitor video feeds, and upload event media alongside the DanceBUG team.

No dance experience required. Training includes virtual instruction in January and at least two live events with experienced team members.

You're a Good Fit If You

Have experience with cameras or live production-sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work - and comfortable with technology and fast-paced events.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid U.S. driver's license; within about an hour of a major airport; available for weekend travel; comfortable with long days and occasional 5-6-hour drives; able to lift about 50 pounds; able to pass a background check.
