Qualifications

  • Proficiency with professional video cameras, including multi-camera setups in live sporting environments
  • Strong knowledge of video production workflows: shooting, ingest, editing and delivery for multiple platforms
  • Expertise in non-linear editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  • Familiarity with audio capture techniques, lighting setups, and on-location production standards for sports/entertainment content
  • Understanding of sports broadcasting fundamentals: game action coverage, player features, and promotional content creation

Job description

The Videographer serves as a key content creator within the organization’s minor league basketball operations, responsible for producing high-quality visual content that captures and elevates the overall brand experience. This role encompasses the full spectrum of video and photo production—from live event coverage to post-production—supporting marketing, digital, social media, and in-game entertainment initiatives. Working collaboratively with internal teams, the Videographer identifies and executes creative storytelling opportunities that highlight basketball action, fan engagement, community involvement, and partner activations. The position requires a self-sufficient, versatile visual content professional who can operate effectively in fast-paced live event environments while consistently delivering polished, brand-aligned content across a variety of platforms and channels throughout the season.

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content that showcases the complete Skyforce experience, including fans, sponsors, community events, premium hospitality, promotions, and basketball action.
  • Edit and deliver compelling visual content for social media, digital marketing, in-game entertainment, advertising, and other promotional materials while maintaining the Skyforce brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to identify creative storytelling opportunities, execute content requests, and contribute fresh ideas throughout the season.
  • Provide and operate your own camera equipment and editing software while working independently in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.

Education and/or Experience
  • Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, including multi-camera setups, in live sporting event environments
