Job summary

Camp Lurecrest Ministries in Lake Lure, NC seeks a Videographer for the summer season. You will shoot, edit, and render the weekly camper DVD and create footage for use during and after the camp season.

Proficiency in Mac OSX and Final Cut Pro X is required. You will use provided cameras, organize files, and upload productions online, reporting to the Media Director.

Must be at least 18, able to work outdoors, and uphold the camp's mission in an on-site Seasonal role from May 31 to August 8, 2026.

Job description

The Videographer documents each week of camp with several projects including a weekly video that goes home with the campers. Must be proficient in Mac OSX and FINAL CUT Pro X. The Videographer will report to the Media Director.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Shooting, editing, and rendering the weekly camper DVD
• Shooting and editing video - for use both during the summer and after
• Compiling and producing the staff video
• Uploading productions online
• Must be able to use Mac OS X and Final Cut Pro X
• Use of provided digital video cameras and organizing digital files required

Requirements

• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training

Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job
