Job summary

Pellissippi State Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Video Production Technology to provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom and laboratories.

Duties include planning and teaching courses as outlined in syllabi, supervising student activities, requesting equipment and instructional aids, evaluating academic progress, and submitting grades.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in video production technology or closely related field
• Three years’ work experience in the video production technology field

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and per course syllabi
• Supervise students' study and learning activities
• Request equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through the department head
• Evaluate students' academic progress
• Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures per Adjunct Faculty Handbook
• Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties
• Schedule two office hours or provide a written plan for access to students when office hours are not possible
