Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Technician II, Video Production to write, film, edit, and distribute instructional and promotional videos for diverse college programs. You will plan productions with clients, ensure proper lighting, and manage crew and schedules.

You will edit and render videos, distribute via OneDrive, and maintain equipment. The role requires an Associate degree or higher and at least one year of relevant experience, with occasional night/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in video production, filming, and editing.
• Ability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and plan video projects.
• Film instructional video projects.
• Assemble footage with text, music, and graphics where applicable.
• Output videos via OneDrive and manage the college YouTube channel.
• Maintain video equipment and check out equipment to staff.
• Record voiceovers for instructional/promotional videos.
• Assist with photography setups and equipment for staff.
