Job summary

Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, MO seeks a Video Production Coordinator for Mane Media Productions to support daily athletics broadcasts and campus productions, operating in-house and remotely as needed. You will direct and produce multicamera shoots, train student operators, and manage pre-production tasks, scripts, and rundowns while serving as a professional ambassador of the university.

Responsibilities

• Supports pre-production concerns such as scheduling, staffing, and production elements.
• Ensures content readiness for academic and athletic productions.
• Supports live multicamera productions in accordance with scripts and rundowns.
• Occupies control room roles (e.g., technical director, audio, camera shading) as needed.
• Assists in training student operators in control room and field during live broadcasts.

Job Summary

The Video Production coordinator supports daily production effortsfor D1 athletics broadcasts, in-house and remote operations, andparticipates in all aspects of multicamera production as aproducer/director.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities and Execution

• Works with the Director of Operations and Engineering, SportsProduction Manager, and Production Manager, and BroadcastOperations Specialist to ensure that all pre-production concerns(e.g., scheduling, staffing, and production elements) have beenappropriately addressed prior to shoots
• Supports content readiness for academic and athleticproductions
• Supports live multicamera productions, such as athleticsbroadcasts, in accordance with supplied scripts/rundowns
• Occupies control room roles (e.g., technical director, audio,and camera shading) as needed
• Assists in training student operators in control room and fieldduring live broadcasts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications with emphasis in broadcastcommunications or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with all aspects of multicamera videoproduction
• Ability to supervise and effectively collaborate with largegroups (comprised of individuals from diverse communities andcultures) toward a common purpose
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and inwriting
• Strong time management skills with the ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible tochanging plans
