Job summary

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates P.C. (KPF) seeks a Video Producer to join its in-house marketing team in New York.

The role focuses on shooting and editing across the firm’s website, social channels, and events, coordinating shoots, and producing polished video content for various platforms. The candidate will work with Canon C300/R5 and Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, with involvement from booking to post production or collaborating with teammates on different parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in video production, content creation, filmmaking, or a related creative field.
• Ability to take direction effectively while also working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicator who can advocate for creative ideas and contribute constructively to team discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback and continuously improve work to achieve high-quality results.
• Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a desire to contribute to a team with ambitious creative goals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, impactful video content.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for domestic video shoots; travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit video content for website and social channels, including YouTube, events, exhibitions, and award ceremonies.
• Coordinate shoots, book equipment, and liaise with outside contractors.
• Post-production editing in Adobe Premiere with color correction and finishing touches.
• Occasionally manage projects from booking to shooting to post, or pass parts to teammates as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to tailor videos for different platforms.
