We’re looking for a creative and resourceful Video Editor/Producer to lead end-to-end production for a fast-paced, daily live news show. This contract position is based in New York City, with working hours aligned to the live show schedule (1–9 PM ET).

In this hands-on role, you’ll own the full production pipeline—from building the studio setup and running live broadcasts to editing platform-optimized clips and shaping the show’s visual identity. You’ll collaborate closely with the on-air host and editorial team to craft compelling, social-first content that drives engagement across multiple channels.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the production of live broadcasts across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
• Edit live show content into short-form videos and podcast episodes optimized for social media
• Help build and optimize the NYC studio setup, including selecting cameras, lighting, audio gear, and set design
• Collaborate on show format, creative direction, and content pacing
• Assist with booking guests and managing logistics from pre- to post-production

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in video/audio production, ideally with social-first or news content
• Deep knowledge of live streaming gear, studio setups, and broadcast production workflows
• Proven ability to create high-impact, short-form content tailored to platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• A strong visual eye and comfort shaping the aesthetic and identity of a new show
• Familiarity with tech and business news is a plus
• Highly organized, calm under pressure, and proactive with creative problem-solving
