• 2+ years of experience in video production, photography, or digital media content creation.

• Strong portfolio including testimonials, events, and promotional content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Position Summary

The Video & Photo Specialist produces compelling visual media that promotes School To Success programs, events, and outreach efforts. This role records and edits video content, captures professional photography at events, and creates engaging digital assets for social media, marketing campaigns, and storytelling. The Specialist develops creative concepts, maintains a media library, and ensures all content authentically communicates the organization's life purpose and career guidance mission to students, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Recording

Plan, record, and produce high-quality video content for School To Success workshops, testimonials, training sessions, and promotional campaigns that highlight the life purpose and career guidance mission.

Edit raw footage and photos into polished, engaging content using industry-standard tools. Add captions, graphics, music, and transitions to produce finished assets ready for publication.

Digital Content Optimization

Export and optimize video and photo assets for web, social media, email campaigns, and presentations. Ensure correct formats, resolutions, and file sizes for each platform.

Social Media & Marketing Media

Create short-form video clips, reels, and image posts for social media channels that drive engagement and enrollment in STS programs and events.

Record and produce student, parent, and partner testimonial videos that authentically share the impact of School To Success and inspire new participants.

Creative Concept Development

Brainstorm and storyboard creative video and photo concepts for campaigns, program launches, and events. Translate ideas into compelling visual stories.

Media Library & Project Management

Organize and maintain a library of video and photo assets. Manage multiple media projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate with the outreach, marketing, and program teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in video production, photography, media arts, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in video production, photography, or digital media content creation.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Experience operating professional cameras, lighting, and audio recording equipment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video and photography work, including testimonials, events, and promotional content.
• Ability to create content that is culturally responsive and appeals to diverse youth and family audiences.
• Strong storytelling skills and an eye for composition, lighting, and visual narrative.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, creative, and passionate about mission-driven work.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
