Job description

Job Title: Director of Photography / Video Production Specialist

Collaborate with clients and internal creative team to assist in the development, production, and delivery of creative video communications. Work in a small team to quickly capture and deliver internal communications content and executive messaging.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Capture a wide array of video content in studio, the field, and auditorium settings including case studies, product or patient videos, video tutorials, docu-style pieces, interviews, event openers, reels, all company and townhall meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, project scope, and final deliverables.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Respond to client calls and emails, providing direct assistance and/or elevating urgent issues to the Production Manager and Content Producer in compliance with SLA response times.
  • Collaborate with the AV and Event staff to support special projects.
  • Work in the most proactive, creative, and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
  • Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, ensuring that each video meets client specifications and is delivered on time.
  • Set up, test, and maintain all video and audio equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all equipment is stored securely and manage inventory to ensure availability for scheduled shoots.
  • Organize and maintain video files and project assets for easy access and archiving.
  • Research and stay up to date with video production trends, technologies, and best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to each project.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be a proven positive and proactive client-facing lead and collaborator.
  • Well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments.
  • Proficient in industry standard video production equipment and processes.
  • Able to interview and direct executives and on-camera talent.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with studio and field production.
  • Must demonstrate ability to utilize extensive knowledge of equipment operation, production techniques, engineering requirements, both industry standards and those unique to client.
  • Functional knowledge of PowerPoint editing and operation.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a corporate environment; Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including executives, staff, clients, and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships.
  • Familiarity with video production enterprise software systems a plus.
  • An overall understanding of the live event and production process is necessary and a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical.
  • Candidate must have a commitment to excellence, ongoing education, and to the proficiency in their craft.
Education & Experience
  • 10+ years related work experience in a high-level corporate environment, creative services unit, AV/events team, or broadcast enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Video/Film Production, or related field required.
  • Must have excellent samples that demonstrate creative work for major clients.
  • Experience in marketing, PR, broadcast, and entertainment is a plus.
