Job Summary/Description:

WRDW-TV/WAGT-TV has an immediate part-time opening for a video editor/videographer. The position involves shooting and editing news videos daily under a deadline. Applicants should be highly skilled in non-linear editing, be able to work independently and with others, and work quickly with attention to detail and accuracy.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Shooting video, but mostly editing, multiple news videos for various newscasts
2. Collaborating with producers and other newsroom members toward the goal of selecting and editing the best visuals to represent newscast content
3. Working with accuracy and attention to detail under multiple daily deadlines

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Applicants should have or be in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in journalism or mass communication on video production or have equivalent experience
2. Hands-on experience and knowledge of non-linear editing equipment and professional video camera equipment is a must
3. Must be dependable, able to work nights and weekend nights
4. Position requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record
