Role & responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, ads) and long-form content for YouTube and digital campaigns.
• Apply visual effects (VFX) and green screen compositing to enhance video content.
• Create motion graphics, transitions, and typographic animations to support brand storytelling.
• Add sound effects, music, transitions, and motion graphics as needed.
• Collaborate with content strategists and creatives to maintain consistent visual branding.
• Assist in developing layouts and design concepts for video and social media campaigns.
• Stay current with video trends, formats, and best practices for different platforms.
• Design and deliver static and animated graphics for use across social media channels.

Preferred candidate profile

• 23+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, and VFX
• Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio or reel required)
• Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (VFX, motion graphics), Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
• Strong sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific content needs
• Effective communication and time management in a remote work environment

Bonus:

• Skills in animation, color grading, or sound design
• German language
