Job summary

The Daily Wire is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our Nashville team. You will handle a range of content, from daily podcasts to long-form interviews and promotional videos, applying our editing standards and creative direction from the Post-Production team.

Responsibilities include transforming raw footage into polished content, creating assembly edits, and collaborating with producers to implement feedback.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, Photoshop).
• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, and color correction is preferred.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and editing sensibility.

The Daily Wire is looking for a Video Editor to join our team! Our Video Editors work on a variety of content including daily podcasts, long-form interviews, YouTube videos, as well as shows like Ben Shapiro’s Debunked and documentaries from Jordan Peterson, with a host of other DailyWire+ content.

This position will take raw video footage from various production projects and use his or her editing skills, creative intuition, and application of company's editing standards to fulfill the creative vision of the Director of Post-Production and other leaders of the Production department.Behind every piece of original Daily Wire video content is a talented member of our team of Video Editors. Experience & Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, including assembly and editorial work.
• Working knowledge of video production and post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates.
• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction is preferred.
• Strong visual sensibility with an excellent understanding of pacing and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to receive, interpret, and implement feedback from management.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and the ability to learn new tools and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, dependability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
