Job summary

The Daily Wire is seeking a Video Editor to join our team in Washington, DC, editing daily podcasts, long-form interviews, YouTube videos, and original Daily Wire content.

You will transform raw footage into polished videos, apply our editing standards, and collaborate with the Director of Post-Production to realize creative visions. This on-site role requires strong storytelling, Premiere Pro expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience including social media, assembly, and editorial work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates.

• Organize and archive footage, project files, and final deliverables while completing required daily project logs.
• Deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget while communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

The Daily Wire is looking for a Video Editor to join our team! Our Video Editors work on a variety of content including daily podcasts, long-form interviews, YouTube videos, as well as shows like Ben Shapiro’s Debunked and documentaries from Jordan Peterson, with a host of other DailyWire+ content.

This position will take raw video footage from various production projects and use his or her editing skills, creative intuition, and application of company's editing standards to fulfill the creative vision of the Director of Post-Production and other leaders of the Production department.Behind every piece of original Daily Wire video content is a talented member of our team of Video Editors. Experience & Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, including social media, assembly, and editorial work.
• Working knowledge of video production and post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates.
• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction is preferred.
• Strong visual sensibility with an excellent understanding of pacing and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to receive, interpret, and implement feedback from management.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and the ability to learn new tools and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, dependability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
