Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Video Journalist to craft engaging video content for our real estate news platforms and Homes.com ecosystem. You will script, shoot, edit, and publish stories, producing daily content for our websites and social channels.

The role emphasizes fast-paced storytelling, on-site work at our Arlington, VA office, and collaboration with reporters and editors to translate data and insights into accessible video pieces across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, video production or related field.
Experience with self-shot and self-edited videos for social platforms.
Ability to shoot video with modern cameras or mobile devices.
Strong editing and animation software skills including Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Responsibilities

Produce engaging daily video content for company websites and social platforms.
Script, conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish video stories.
Turn breaking news into quick, punchy social clips.
Collaborate with newsroom, graphics and marketing teams to plan social calendars.
Produce long-form interviews and package short-form videos for social platforms.
Ensure consistent brand voice and SEO in all video content.
