Job summary

Greenwood Homes in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Video Content Creator to tell our lifestyle story through visual storytelling. You will shoot and edit video, develop content for YouTube and social channels, and collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate video into the broader content strategy.

Ideal candidates have a portfolio of photography and video, strong editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple shoots, travel locally to communities, and stay on

Qualifications

• Portfolio of photography + videography showing technical & aesthetic skill.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere/After Effects or similar).
• Experience with video editing, color grading, motion graphics a plus.
• Ability to conduct research and identify needed equipment for Greenwood to purchase.
• Operate and maintain cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production gear.
• Embrace new technology and branding/marketing concepts with video metrics.
• Drone/aerial videography license and experience, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong lighting, composition, and visual storytelling skills.
• Excellent time management to juggle multiple shoots and post-production.
• Independent worker and team collaborator with attention to detail.
• Understanding of social media and video hosting basics.
• Willingness to travel to communities and model homes locally and monthly to Raleigh-Durham, NC and Hampton Roads, VA.
• Experience in real estate, architecture, lifestyle content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce at least 2 videos per week on average using Greenwood Homes’ content framework.
• Handle all aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Collaborate with Content Manager and Director of Marketing to integrate video into the broader content strategy.
• Coach and prep team members and customers to feel comfortable on camera and become on-screen brand ambassadors.
• Organize a digital asset library and maintain naming, metadata, and workflow consistency.
• Ensure video content is optimized for platforms like YouTube and social media.
• Stay current on trends (short-form video, reels, TikTok-style content).
• Occasionally assist with staging or styling (in coordination with interior/design).
• Travel locally to communities and model home sites and monthly to Raleigh-Durham, NC and Hampton Roads, VA.
