Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Video AI team, based in Sunnyvale, CA or New York, NY. You will lead a 15–20 person engineering group, define a technical roadmap, and drive scalable AI initiatives for video understanding, search, and personalization.

You will mentor engineers, align projects with business goals, and partner with infrastructure teams to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field.
• PhD or Master's in CS/ML or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in AI/ML or related areas with leadership experience.
• Strong track record leading large AI/ML engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 15–20 person engineering team including engineers and leads.
• Define technical roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
• Drive scalable AI initiatives for video understanding, search, and personalization.
• Mentor engineers, foster inclusion, and promote technical excellence.
• Collaborate with infra and platform teams to optimize retrieval and serving.
