Job summary

The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office seeks a Victim Assistant Therapist (Grant Funded) to provide early therapeutic services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Work with Victim Advocates, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care.

Requires a Master's in Clinical Social Work or Counseling and GA licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT).

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in CSW, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in GA (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• Experience in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed therapy to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine psychological and emotional needs for victims and impacted children.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing trauma experiences.
• Make appropriate referrals to external mental health and support services as needed.
