Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Victim Advocate in Meridian, MS to provide crisis intervention and support to victims of domestic violence. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least 2 years of direct experience with victims. Responsibilities include safety planning, legal navigation, and accompanying victims during interviews. This role also entails maintaining discreet case files while collaborating with law enforcement and medical staff to ensure victim safety. Work is scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ direct experience working with victims of domestic violence.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to victims.
• Assist clients with safety planning and legal/medical navigation.
• Accompany victims to interviews and court proceedings.
• Maintain confidential case files according to policy.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and medical staff.
