Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services is seeking a Victim Services Specialist for the 13th Judicial Circuit (Greenville & Pickens counties). Office location TBD.

You will provide a full range of victim services, coordinate programs, implement and monitor activities, and collaborate with community partners across circuits. Travel is required within multiple counties, and some overnight travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for related experience.
• Must be required to obtain Victim Services Provider Certification.
• Associate’s degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, education, counseling or other social/behavioral science with two years’ related experience; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of victim services and coordinate/monitor all aspects of victim services within the 13th Judicial Circuit.
• Deliver Victim Awareness Training to Department staff and support agency trainings.
• Represent SCDPPPS in inter- and intra-agency victim services efforts and conduct outreach with community partners; travel across circuits; overnight travel may be required.
