The Victims' Services Unit (VSU) is seeking a Victim Advocate to support the Community Awareness, Response, and Engagement Office in providing services to California crime victims. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Victim Advocate will perform technical, analytical, and victims' services assignments. The role focuses on delivering victim-centered and trauma-informed services, including orientation to the criminal justice system, support, advocacy, and referrals to other agencies.
Working Conditions
This position is eligible for telework and is currently remote-centered. In-person attendance may be required for meetings, trainings, or events at the Sacramento Department of Justice office. Expenses for travel are the responsibility of the employee. Telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
Salary and Application Process
