Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Victim Advocacy Coordinator 2 in Colville, WA to coordinate client advocacy services for victims of violence and trauma within the Rural Resources Victim Services’ service area. The role includes supervising staff, managing budgets, and supporting program operations while ensuring client safety and service quality.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus a 40-hour preservice victim services training and relevant experience in victim support

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, child abuse and crime victimization.
• Knowledge of wrap-around victim advocacy approaches and motivational interviewing.
• Leadership and management principles including de-escalation and staff development.
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Crisis intervention and advocacy principles and practices.
• Ability to coordinate meetings with diverse groups and motivate participants.
• Experience with budgets, grants, and program administration.
• Ability to coach, train, and provide technical assistance to staff and partners.
• Experience monitoring schedules and budgets; evaluating staff performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; report generation.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local policies relevant to program areas.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Computer literacy and software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Monitor budget to achieve outcomes while maintaining fiscal fidelity.
• Prepare financial entries and grant-related reports.
• Collect and prepare service data for grant reporting and monitoring.
• Complete intakes, screenings, and ongoing case management for clients.
• Provide referrals, crisis intervention, and ongoing advocacy for clients.
