Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Victim Advocacy Coordinator 1 in Colville, WA. The role coordinates client advocacy programs addressing abuse, violence, and trauma, supervises direct service staff, and supports program operations including budgeting, grant reporting, and evaluation.

You will provide direct client services—crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management—for victims, collaborating with system partners and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area; 40-hour preservice victim services training; 2 years in victim support; 1 year of managerial experience.
• Extensive knowledge of domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, child abuse and crime victimization.
• Experience with leadership, supervision, budgeting, grant administration, and program evaluation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, supervision, training, and routine evaluation of staff.
• Monitor allocated budget to meet client outcomes and fiscal goals.
• Prepare bill coding, journal entries, reconciliations and other fiscal measures.
• Collect and prepare data for grant reporting and contract compliance.
• Complete initial intake, safety and lethality screenings, and ongoing case management.
• Provide referrals, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support; assist with legal and community resources.
