Job summary

School Social Work Association of America seeks a visionary Vice Provost to lead the School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design. This on-site Dallas role reports to the Provost and Chief Academic Officer, guiding academic quality, student success, and faculty development across multiple disciplines.

The Vice Provost will shape curricula, strengthen employment pipelines, and build partnerships with employers and community organizations to expand experiential learning and revenue

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; earned doctorate preferred.
• Five years of progressively responsible teaching, administrative and/or educational leadership experience.
• Three years of upper-level administrative or supervisory experience in a community college or higher education environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, fiscal management and personnel supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic quality, student success and program effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain student pathways and degree maps within the School.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations for experiential learning.
• Advocate for students, faculty, staff and programs within the College and broader community.
• Lead budgeting, resource stewardship and fundraising efforts.
• Represent the School to external partners and stakeholders.
