Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is reporting on a Vice Provost role at Dallas College, leading the School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design (CAED). The role emphasizes strategic leadership for academic quality, student success, and faculty development.

Reporting to the Provost and CAED stakeholders, the Vice Provost will drive workforce-ready programs, industry partnerships, and revenue opportunities while guiding curricular innovation and program effectiveness across CAED.

Qualifications

Progressive experience as an academic administrator involving undergraduate and/or graduate programs, including budgets and personnel oversight.
Experience managing budgets, recruitment and evaluation of personnel.
Strong skills in strategic planning and evaluating program outcomes.
Ability to develop guidelines for program quality, accreditation and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee faculty and academic managers, with responsibility for academic excellence initiatives.
Develop and maintain student pathways and degree maps within the School.
Oversee School programs and staff across multiple locations for a consistent student experience.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build experiential learning and employment pipelines.
Coordinate with Academic Services to provide access to resources for students.
Ensure curriculum and program excellence through benchmarking and assessment.
Complete required Dallas College professional development hours each academic year.
Perform other duties as assigned.
