Job Duties
  • Provides vision and leadership for academic support services, aligning units with institutional academic priorities and student success goals;
  • drives cross-functional integration across academic success, libraries, registrar, curriculum infrastructure, and academic partnerships.
  • Leads academic success and retention strategies, including advising, tutoring, and Academic Success Center programming, using data-informed approaches to improve persistence, performance, and completion outcomes.
  • Provides executive oversight of university libraries, instructional design, and academic technologies; advances innovation in digital learning, immersive technologies, and teaching and learning resources.
  • Oversees registrar functions, academic records, academic policies and catalog management, student business services, academic calendars, and clinical skills simulation centers, ensuring compliance with institutional, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partners with Deans and academic leaders to support program development, approval, and lifecycle management; advances curriculum innovation, ensures program sustainability, and provides oversight of JCIPE.
  • Provides oversight and coordination of international services and supports study-away and other experiential learning opportunities that enhance academic programming and student engagement.
  • Supervises senior leaders across academic support domains; builds high-performing teams and fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability while leveraging data, assessment, and analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline required
  • 10 years progressive leadership experience in higher education academic affairs or student success.

Additional Qualifications

Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
