Job summary

Alpha School seeks a Vice President of Community Relations to grow local awareness, lead admissions for affluent families, and build a powerful advocacy network across multiple campuses including Miami and other major markets.

The role focuses on high-stakes relationship management, executive communication, and on-site leadership with evening and weekend events. Previous private school leadership or UHNW client services is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading high-stakes relationships in private or independent K-12 education, fundraising or major gifts, enterprise sales, client success, or private wealth management.
• 2+ years working directly and regularly with UHNW families, such as full-pay families at an elite private school, family-office clients, wealth-management clients, or major donors.
• Proven ownership of measurable enrollment, retention, advocacy, sales, or client outcomes, including resolving sensitive situations and holding firm standards when influential people push back.
• Polished executive communication, consultative judgment, and genuine conviction in Alpha's accelerated learning model.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; willing to on-site work and 2–4 evening/weekend events per month.

Responsibilities

• Build local awareness through partnerships with family offices, private clubs, and independent advisors and host events to generate inbound inquiries.
• Run admissions for wealthy families end-to-end: info sessions, 1:1 follow-ups, and enrollment decisions.
• Turn enrolled parents into public champions through advocacy workshops and parent networks.
• Resolve escalations by diagnosing model vs. campus vs. family fit and document precedents for network-wide use.
• Maintain relationships with current families through regular touchpoints and report patterns to leadership.
