Job summary

Hometown Soccer Holdings is building a ticketing revenue engine to drive growth across all product lines in a community-focused MLS NEXT Pro club. The Vice President, Ticketing will lead revenue strategy, pricing, and the unified sales-and-service organization, reporting to the Club President.

The role requires 8+ years in ticket sales with a pro sports team, strong leadership, and expertise in CRM/ticketing platforms, with readiness for non-traditional hours and executive communication

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of ticket sales experience with a professional sports team and senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing revenue teams.
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and pricing.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM and ticketing platforms.
  • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and event days.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the club's annual ticketing revenue plan across all product lines.
  • Lead long-term pricing, packaging, and product strategy.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, revenue tracking, and reporting.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to evolve the product portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the unified Ticketing team.
  • Oversee recruitment, training programs, and staff performance management.
  • Cultivate a high-accountability sales culture focused on development and fan experience.
  • Oversee CRM strategy, lead scoring, and data hygiene to protect dashboards and forecasting.
  • Evaluate and prioritize investments in sales-enabling technologies.
  • Establish standards around inventory, contracts, discounts, and payment structures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align promotions, product strategy, and revenue opportunities.
  • Represent the department with executive-level communication and be part of the senior leadership team.

Job description

Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is building a portfolio of locally rooted MLS NEXT Pro clubs, each deeply embedded in its community and built to create lasting connections with fans. The Vice President, Ticketing is responsible for leading the Club's full ticketing revenue strategy, including Full Season Equivalents, Groups, Premium Seating, and Renewals.
Reporting to the Club President, this role owns long-term revenue planning, product innovation, pipeline strategy, pricing architecture, and departmental culture. The Vice President leads a unified sales & service organization, drives adoption of sales technology, and partners cross-functionally to maximize revenue and fan experience.
This is a compelling opportunity for a commercially-driven sales leader to build and run the ticketing revenue engine of a growing club. The ideal candidate brings proven ticket sales management experience, a strong track record building and leading high-performing sales teams, command of CRM and ticketing platforms, and a genuine passion for soccer and sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee CRM strategy, lead scoring, and data hygiene, ensuring accurate staff data entry to protect dashboard integrity and forecasting
  • Evaluate and prioritize investments in sales-enabling technologies
  • Establish standards around inventory management, contract accuracy, discounting, and payment structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align promotions, product strategy, and revenue opportunities
  • Represent the department internally and externally with executive-level communication
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
You Have These
  • 8+ years of experience in ticket sales with a professional sports team including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing revenue teams and delivering revenue growth
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and pricing
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and ticketing platforms
  • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and event days
Compensation & Total Rewards
  • Base Salary Range: $120,000 per year. (Base salary at the time of an offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, expert experience, and current market conditions.)
  • Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus structure based on individual performance and overall organizational goals.
  • Commission Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a commission structure based on individual performance and overall department goals.
  • Broad-Based Ownership Pool (BBOP) Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a Broad-Based Ownership Pool, a company-wide equity program designed to give employees a stake in the organization’s long-term success. Additional details on allocation and vesting will be provided as the program is finalized.
