We’re looking for a smart, driven individual to lead our Strategic Finance (FP&A) function. You will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and use quantitative insights to drive better decision-making across the organization. Strategic Finance is responsible for owning the company’s budget and financial planning processes, performing financial analyses, providing guidance for investments, and maximizing impact in our major cost centers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively.

What You'll Do

• Maintain our financial model and forecasts to guide Affirm’s long-term financial health, advising on growth, hiring, spending, and strategic projects
• Oversee loan volume forecasting, compensation planning, and growth opportunities in lending and new products
• Drive financial planning processes aligned with Technology and Commercial roadmaps
• Provide budget guidance to senior executives to ensure strategic investments and desired outcomes
• Develop metrics supporting hiring, expansion, and profitability goals
• Manage a high-performing, cross-functional team
• Develop programs for tracking and managing budgets with senior leaders

What We Look For

• 15+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance
• FP&A experience at a late-stage private or public company
• Experience in a highly regulated or high-growth environment
• Understanding of lending P&L and debt capital markets
• Leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and team growth
• Ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with senior leadership and board members

• Salary Range: $340,000 - $380,000/year
