Job summary

Chase is seeking a Vice President- Partner technical Experience Lead to manage partner-facing technical implementation and post-launch support for secure, scalable integrations. You will translate requirements, collaborate with product/engineering, and drive governance-aligned delivery to minimize onboarding friction.

You will lead technical discussions with external stakeholders, create runbooks, and ensure security and compliance through all phases of implementation and operation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a technical liaison for external partners in integration, onboarding, or implementation.
  • 5+ years supporting API- and platform-based integrations through design, build, testing, and release.
  • 5+ years translating business requirements into technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • 5+ years leading technical discussions with external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years documenting technical requirements and implementation artifacts (e.g., specs, runbooks, support workflows).
  • Knowledge of change management concepts for technology implementations and production support.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to identify and elevate delivery risks, dependencies, and operational issues promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external partners across strategy alignment, onboarding, integration delivery, and ongoing support.
  • Translate partner business needs into clear technical requirements, implementation approaches, and decision points.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to align on capabilities, solution design, and delivery milestones.
  • Design and support integrations using existing and new capabilities, including APIs and platform services.
  • Lead partner 'tech-to-tech' working sessions to review roadmaps, implementation status, and technical issues.
  • Document integration requirements, technical specifications, best practices, and operational runbooks for ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technical processes through automation, standardization, and integration patterns.
  • Provide clear, audience-appropriate communication of technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs to partner stakeholders.
  • Advocate for partner needs internally by sharing structured feedback, patterns, and recurring pain points.
  • Support technical change management by assessing impacts, coordinating communications, and reducing implementation risk.
  • Help ensure solutions meet security, performance, and compliance requirements throughout implementation and post-launch operations.

You collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans, reduce friction during onboarding, and improve the ongoing partner technical experience. You also support change management and help ensure solutions align to governance, risk, and compliance expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • 5years+ experience leading technical discussions with external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams
  • 5years+ experience documenting technical requirements and implementation artifacts (e.g., specifications, runbooks, support workflows)
  • Knowledge of change management concepts for technology implementations and production support
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to identify and elevate delivery risks, dependencies, and operational issues in a timely manner
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 7years+ experience supporting post-launch integration maintenance, incident triage, and issue resolution with external partners
  • 7years+ experience with authentication and authorization concepts commonly used in API integrations
  • 7years+ experience improving technical processes through automation, standardization, or reusable integration patterns
  • 7years+ experience collaborating with governance, risk, and compliance stakeholders on technology delivery
  • 7years+ experience operating in a matrixed environment with multiple product and engineering teams
  • Familiarity with performance and reliability considerations for partner-facing integrations
