Job summary

Metric DCX seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead hyperscale data center delivery across the United States, partnering with an ENR Top-10 General Contractor.

You will direct portfolio P&L, shape operational strategy, develop senior teams, and cultivate executive client relationships while aligning preconstruction, procurement, construction, and commissioning for long-term growth.

Metric DCX is partnering with an ENR Top-10 General Contractor to hire a Vice President of Operations to lead the delivery and growth of its hyperscale data center construction portfolio across the United States.

If you're a Vice President of Operations, Regional Vice President, or Director of Construction with experience leading major mission-critical construction portfolios, this could be a great next step.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll provide executive leadership across a portfolio of major hyperscale data center projects, taking responsibility for operational strategy, financial performance, leadership development, and client relationships. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll align project delivery with business objectives and build the teams and processes needed to support long-term growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading Directors of Construction, Project Executives, and senior operational teams
• Owning portfolio P&L, forecasting, margin performance, and operational budgets
• Setting operational strategy and ensuring consistent delivery
• Building executive-level relationships with hyperscale clients and key delivery partners
• Overseeing workforce planning, leadership recruitment, and succession planning
• Managing portfolio risk, commercial exposure, and escalated project challenges
• Aligning preconstruction, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
