Job summary

RealmOne, headquartered in Columbia, MD, seeks a VP of Technical Strategy to drive the Foundry’s business with P&L accountability and a wealth of crossing engagements with engineering, product, and sales leaders.

You will shape the product portfolio, guide technical efforts, and influence strategic decisions with senior executives, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer as part of the Strategy Organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years leading a technology business, product line, or organization with P&L or revenue accountability.
• Experience selling technology to intelligence or defense customers, including through non-traditional acquisition pathways (OTAs, BAAs, CSOs, marketplaces).
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technology product organization with accountability for revenue, investment, and award targets.
• Set business priorities and investment limits; resolve competing demands for engineering capacity.
• Run a disciplined decision cadence for pursuit, pricing, and portfolio decisions based on recommendations from directors and technical leads.
• Lead and develop senior leaders across engineering, product, and sales.
• Manage interfaces with Finance, Contracts, Growth, Delivery, and corporate Strategy.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Job Description:

• We are searching for a VP of Technical Strategy to lead the business activities of the RealmOne Foundry. You will oversee the Foundry’s P&L and award targets, set business priorities, and align engineering effort when demands compete. You will oversee an opportunity pipeline and product portfolio, recommend which opportunities we pursue, guide technical engineering efforts, and lead product development based on recommendations from your team. You will collaborate across RealmOne to achieve your goals, and report to the Chief Strategy Officer as part of the Strategy Organization. The right candidate has run a technology or product business with real revenue accountability, knows how intelligence and defense customers buy technology, excels at customer and industry engagement, and has the credibility to lead technical efforts and experts.

The VP of Technical Strategy shall possess the following capabilities:

• Lead a technology product organization with accountability for revenue, investment, and award targets.
• Set business priorities and investment limits; resolve competing demands for engineering capacity.
• Run a disciplined decision cadence for pursuit, pricing, and portfolio decisions based on recommendations from directors and technical leads.
• Lead and develop senior leaders across engineering, product, and sales.
• Manage interfaces with Finance, Contracts, Growth, Delivery, and corporate Strategy.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Position requires Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 285,000 - 315,000
