Role: VP of Software Engineering

Location: Remote (USA)

Salary: $220K-$280K + bonus + equity

Piper Maddox are working with an industry leader in the EV Charging space who are revolutionizing the infrastructure landscape and implementing state of the art SaaS based solutions to provide a smooth experience for EV drivers.

As they enter this next phase of growth they are looking for a seasoned VP of Software Engineering to join their team, to scale a cross-functional engineering team and further develop their EV Charging cloud solution offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the software engineering roadmap for the organization
• Build and implement scalable software architecture for EV charging solutions.
• Manage and scale a cross-functional team of software engineers (20+)
• Manage the end-to-end software development (mobile apps, web platforms, cloud services, & IoT device integration) of their EV Charging platform

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Min 4 years experience in a software engineering leadership role within EV Charging space
• 8+ years of management experience
• Extensive experience scaling architecture and cloud technologies within EV Charging
• Familiarity with EV charging protocols (OCPP, OCPI) and energy systems is a plus.
• Strong track record of building and managing cross functional engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with a multitude of software stacks
