VP of SLED Sales – US (Remote)

A high-growth leader in the digital identity and verification space is seeking a Vice President of SLED Sales to oversee and scale its public sector sales organization. They are selling into state, local, and education (SLED) markets — as well as federal government and public sector agencies.

About the Company

The company is a category-defining force in identity verification, with a mission to eliminate identity fraud and ensure trust in digital interactions. Their technology has verified over 100 million digital identities and counting!

Having recently raised Series B funding, they are scaling heavily within the SLED sectors, which is why they are looking for a seasoned leader like you to join their team!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of 15 Account Executives and Account Managers focused on selling into state, local, federal government, and education sectors.
  • Owning and driving the SLED go-to-market strategy, including sales execution, account segmentation, territory design, and performance optimization.
  • Building strong executive-level relationships with public sector stakeholders and procurement leaders.
  • Developing long-term sales plans that align with broader company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, playing a strategic role in shaping the company’s public sector footprint.
  • Offering a $220k – $250k base salary plus commission and equity.
  • This is a fully remote role — open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.
  • Providing comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
