In addition to these qualities, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics and qualifications:

Characteristics:

  1. Proven Business Development results acquiring clients >$10Million in annual purchases
  2. Demonstrated proficiency leading teams in prospecting and lead generation processes
  3. Demonstrated ability to develop and improve customer relationships at all levels
  4. Strong communication skills
  5. Develops product knowledge skills and applies knowledge to provide value add solutions for customers while enhancing internal product strategies.
  6. Ability to coach a range of individual personalities and skill sets to higher success.
  7. In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing strategy
  8. Proven results creating alignment for growth initiatives across a leadership team that includes operations, finance, and product management
  9. Familiarity with many different aspects of the manufacturing process including product development, launch, quoting, and price negotiation to provide increased value for the company in a simple and elegant manner
  10. Ability and willingness to work on the floor to understand manufacturing processes, help apply technology to customer solutions, and create or maintain successful programs alongside engineers

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing setting pertaining to high volume products, preferably relating to automotive, agriculture, construction, commercial vehicle, power sports or appliance products
  2. Bachelor’s degree
  3. Strong business and financial acumen
  4. Strong negotiation and deal-making skills
  5. Evidence of having completed multiple LTA’s and contracts with publicly traded companies (i.e. Ford, Honda, John Deere or equivalent OEMs)
  6. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically coupled with strong decision making & problem-solving skills
  7. Must be an independent self-starter, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  8. Demonstrated ability to analyze information and create change in a team setting
  9. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
