VP Sales IT Services - Pacific Northwest

Our client is seeking a high-impact Vice President of Sales to lead and scale their Pacific Northwest sales organization. This role carries significant ownership of the go-to-market strategy, team development, and revenue acceleration for the region. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals, growing regional market share, and developing high-performing sales teams. This leader will bring strong consultative sales expertise in IT services and excel at driving strategic growth while building lasting enterprise relationships.

Silicon Valley based, PE-owned, IT services firm with 2500+ employees providing IT services and digital solutions to hundreds of enterprise clients globally.

Services Areas:

Applications Services, Infrastructure Services (Service desk, NOC, SOC, Data center Smart hands), Automation, AI & RPA, Sales Force, Service Now, Payments (nice to have)

Team Size:

Responsibilities

  • Generate sustainable revenue growth by establishing a bold inbound and outbound customer acquisition strategy, while leading an ambitious sales team
  • Drive top-tier performance and accountability towards targets through comprehensive pipeline tracking, disciplined operations and judicious use of incentives
  • Collaborate and partner with sales leaders, delivery leads and executives to align GTM strategy, shared goals, and operational best practices
  • Partner with adjacent teams, setting pipeline and quota metrics for sales funnel management, as well as defining global operating principles and standards for team processes
  • Hire, coach, and develop distributed sales teams that operate in a remote work environment
  • Manage sales budgets in partnership with the sales operations, compensation, and finance organizations, balancing growth goals with team motivation and engagement
  • Foster a high performance, collaborative team culture rooted in a shared commitment to success, celebrating wins, and embracing diversity and inclusion in alignment with our company values

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15+ years of sales experience in a global enterprise services/software company
  • Min. of 7-10 years’ experience selling IT services capabilities to enterprise customers
  • Min. 3-5 years' experience directly managing and leading senior sales teams.
  • Strong customer network across PNW, especially experience selling into top tech companies, Microsoft, AWS etc. would be preferred
  • A growth mindset with an innate bias towards great execution and action, with a track record of meeting and exceeding quota-attainment targets
  • Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing a geographically distributed sales and market development team and managing in a hybrid work environment
  • Executive presence with consultative ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial energy, demonstrated by a passion to take on new challenges, ability to adapt to a changing competitive environment, and comfort with agile ways of working
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced selling strategies and methods as well as employee and sales team incentive and motivation programs
  • Analytical skills, with an ability to apply data to decision-making, combined with great strategic and organizational planning skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering-related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed
