Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center seeks a Vice President of Quality Management to design, implement and oversee the hospital’s quality assurance and performance improvement programs, including patient safety, infection control, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead clinical excellence and outcomes initiatives, coordinate cross-functional activities, serve as an expert resource for accreditation, and support the Quality Committee, Medical Executive

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required, must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • CPHQ certification, or within one year of hire.
  • Preferred: Registered Nurse for the state of California
  • Minimum: 7-9 years of progressive hospital/nursing management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and oversee all aspects of the quality assurance and performance improvement program within the organization.
  • Reporting to the CEO as Vice President of Quality, responsible for development of an integrated approach to quality and patient safety across the organization as well as all facets of Quality Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Infection Prevention, and Patient Safety.
  • Facilitate and coordinate activities in: clinical excellence and patient safety; process improvement and outcomes management; regulatory readiness.
  • Serve as an expert resource within Los Robles related to clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory and performance improvement issues, and accreditation-related activities.
  • Serve as a member of the senior leadership team and provide support to the Quality Committee, Medical Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.

Job Summary And Qualifications
