Job summary

Stealth is seeking a Vice President of Product to steer strategy for our public-sector oriented hardware and software ecosystems. You will oversee edge devices (cameras, IoT) and software, integrating ML/AI into the core product suite while guiding an executive-aligned roadmap.

As a hands-on leader, you will manage a team of Product Managers across active and emerging lines, rely on data to direct the organization, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to define go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of product leadership in hardware/software.
• Experience in VP-level roles or Director with VP intent.
• Domain expertise in hardware product development.
• Proven NPI and mass production experience.

Job description

We are looking for a Vice President of Product to direct the strategy for our Public-Sector facing integrated hardware and software ecosystems. You will oversee the development of complex, edge-deployed technology—including cameras, IoT devices, and software while integrating machine learning and AI capabilities into the core product suite. As a key executive, you will rely on data to guide the product organization and align the executive team and Board of Directors around a clear roadmap for growth. This role is a combination of being hands on with our evolving, active products, as well as managing and overseeing a team of Product Managers across a number of different product lines that are both active and emerging.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the product vision and strategy, unifying physical hardware (cameras, vision systems, IoT, robotics) with software platforms and AI/ML ecosystems.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI) and conceptualization through manufacturing, commercial deployment, and end-of-life.
• Manage and scale the product organization, balancing technical execution with strategic leadership and operational rigor.
• Use data and analytics to shape product direction, prioritize development, manage product P&L, and deliver evidence-based recommendations to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to define go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and target market segments.
• Build consensus across hardware engineering, software engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams with conviction, persuasion, and a low-ego approach.
• Gather market and competitive intelligence to anticipate trends in edge computing, computer vision, and IoT to ensure the portfolio remains competitive.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of product leadership experience, with a track record of building complex technologies and managing teams.
• Proven experience at a minimum Director level role, preferably already in a VP seat.
• Domain expertise in hardware product development (e.g., cameras, IoT, robotics or similar technology domains) combined with the software and cloud platforms that power them.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), taking hardware devices from R&D prototypes to mass production and global deployment.
• History of commercializing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies within integrated hardware and software ecosystems.
• Business and financial acumen, with experience managing product margins, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.
• Executive presence with the ability to lead with data, advocate for strategic direction, and influence board decisions while remaining grounded and collaborative.
• Ability to recruit, retain, and develop product managers in competitive tech markets.
• Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
