About Venteur

Venteur is a leading personalized health insurance platform that helps employers to offer an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) to their employees for health benefits. We are the fastest-growing company in the space and are transforming how employers and employees access healthcare benefits. Our goal is to replace the one-size-fits-none status quo with a more flexible, personalized health benefit model.

At Venteur, product leadership sits at the intersection of innovation, empathy, and execution. You'll define and deliver a product vision that unlocks meaningful value for our customers—employers, employees, and partners—by translating complex healthcare regulations into intuitive, user-centered experiences. Our platform brings clarity to a confusing system and simplifies benefit administration while preserving flexibility and compliance.

This role is for a strategic product leader who can align stakeholders around a shared roadmap, drive experimentation and iteration, and scale high-impact solutions across a diverse customer base. You'll own the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that every feature we build solves real problems and drives measurable business outcomes. Join us in transforming health insurance from a burden into a benefit people actually understand and trust.

Role Overview

As the VP of Product at Venteur, you will reshape how individuals consume health insurance and reposition how employers and brokers approach healthcare benefits. You will play a leading role in creating a more flexible healthcare financing system that meets the demands of the modern American consumer. You will join a fantastic product team and have the opportunity to shape its future. You'll lead development of our product strategy and optimize our roadmap with an eye for creating customer delight and accelerating market expansion. This is a San Francisco-based position that will work from Venteur's offices in Jackson Square.

Strategic Leadership

Key Responsibilities of this Role include:

  • Deeply understand the needs of our customers to build products with great market fit
  • Lead development, manage implementation, and measure the success of Venteur’s product strategy
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the ICHRA, fintech, digital health, and AI
  • Break down the work into well-prioritized plans and partner with engineering to execute
  • Develop talent plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain a diverse, qualified, and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs

Product Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team
  • Refine and augment product development processes that enable rapid iteration and continuous improvement
  • Drive product decisions using a combination of data analytics, user research, and business insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery

Customer & Market Focus

  • Develop deep understanding of employee, employer, and broker needs in the health benefits space
  • Champion customer-centric product development through user research and feedback loops
  • Increase customer engagement and retention through thoughtful product enhancements
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to develop compelling product positioning and go-to-market strategies

Execution & Results

  • Define clear success metrics for product initiatives and hold the team accountable for results
  • Prioritize features and enhancements that deliver maximum business value
  • Balance building for scale with the need for speed in a fast-growing market
  • Make informed decisions about when to iterate on existing products versus developing new solutions
  • Implement processes that maintain product quality while enabling rapid development

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in fast-growing early-stage startups (Series A-C)
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling fintech and/or B2BC products
  • History of driving significant business growth through product innovation
  • Leadership experience–a history of building and developing teams, as well as driving them to meaningful outcomes with a sense of urgency and excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic prioritization and synthesize across complex inputs to drive product decisions, technical tradeoffs, and customer metrics
  • A demonstrated ability to problem-solve, manage scope, and ship high-quality products effectively from ideation to market impact
  • Technical product leadership, design sense, technical insight, and quantitative acumen to lead complex products to market and to be the standard-bearer for best practices across product management touchpoints in the company
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in a high-growth environment

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $225,000 - $250,000 per year + performance bonus
  • Generous equity compensation
  • Comprehensive health benefits (including our own ICHRA solution) dental, vision, and life insurance benefits fully paid by employer
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Offsite company trips
