Job summary

Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead strategy, financial performance, and day-to-day execution across a multi-site service network. You will align locations with company objectives, manage budgets, and drive KPI-driven improvements to uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical rigor, and experience in fixed operations within an automotive dealership context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field strongly preferred but not required.
• 10+ years in equipment dealership or fleet operations with leadership at multi-site level.
• Ability to set KPI standards, analyze performance, and drive financial results.
• Experience defining KPI frameworks and analytics to manage service and financial performance.
• Experience owning P&L for a service network and improving gross margin.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-site service capacity plan, determining where to add locations, capacity, and headcount.
• Set productivity, efficiency and throughput targets by location and hold leadership accountable.
• Own the P&L for maintenance costs and retail service across the network, including labor rate policy.
• Define the service KPI set, reporting standards, and analytics across locations.
• Report service performance and financial results to executive leadership and the board.
