Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in mechanical contracting, construction, commercial HVAC, or related industries.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions and teams.
• Strong knowledge of project management, field operations, labor planning, and organizational development.
• Proven success implementing systems, processes, and performance management disciplines.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting organizational growth, business integration, or large-scale operational improvement initiatives is preferred.

Our President, a strategic visionary motivated by people and high performance, is setting the direction for rapid regional expansion targeting 5x organic growth over the next 10 years, augmented by strategic tuck-in acquisitions.

We are looking for a Vice President of Operationsto assist in carrying out that vision and help lay the framework needed to make that future a reality.

The Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the company scales intentionally, maintains operational excellence, develops future leaders, and consistently delivers on the commitments made to customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Performance:

Leadership Development:

• Coach and develop operational leaders, managers, project managers, superintendents, and supervisors.
• Strengthen organizational accountability and ownership.
• Build leadership bench strength capable of supporting future growth.
• Foster collaboration across departments and functions.

• Build scalable systems and processes capable of supporting significant growth.
